Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to the Aurself app for mobile devices, created by Muhammed Enfal Emirzade("Service Provider") as a Freemium service.

Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application.

General Terms

Unauthorized copying or modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.

The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial and efficient as possible. As such, they reserve the right to modify the Application or charge for their services at any time and for any reason. The Service Provider assures you that any charges for the Application or its services will be clearly communicated to you.

The Application stores and processes personal data that you have provided to the Service Provider in order to provide the Service. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone and access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, which involves removing software restrictions and limitations imposed by the official operating system of your device. Such actions could expose your phone to malware, viruses, and malicious programs, compromise your phone's security features, and may result in the Application not functioning correctly or at all.

Please note that the Application utilizes third-party services that have their own Terms and Conditions. Below are the links to the Terms and Conditions of the third-party service providers:

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The Application offers a Premium membership through a paid subscription, available via in-app purchase processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, depending on your platform. The following terms apply to all subscription purchases:

  • Subscription fees are clearly disclosed prior to purchase within the Application.
  • Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected subscription plan.
  • You may manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your device's App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Refunds for unused portions of a subscription period are subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
  • The Service Provider reserves the right to modify subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated to you in advance and will take effect only upon your renewal.

User Accounts and Public Profiles

To use certain features of the Application, you must create an account. You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account and use the Application. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

When you register, a public profile is created that is visible to other registered users of the Application. Your public profile displays your username, display name, avatar, bio, most recently saved content, and most recently liked content. You may also choose to display your journal entries on your public profile. This is an optional setting that you can enable or disable at any time through the Application settings. When enabled, your journal entries will be visible to other registered users alongside your other profile information.

You are solely responsible for the information you choose to include in your public profile and for any journal entries you choose to make public, and for ensuring that such content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

You agree not to impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity in your profile or elsewhere in the Application.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time directly through the account deletion feature available within the Application settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data, including journal entries and test results, will be permanently removed in accordance with the Privacy Policy. Deleting your account will terminate your access to any active subscription; any refund for the remaining subscription period is subject to the refund policies of the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, as applicable.

Content and Acceptable Use

The Application provides content related to personal development, character analysis, self-discovery, cultural knowledge, and wellness. All content within the Application is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

  • Health and wellness content, including physical and mental well-being recommendations, daily routines, and lifestyle suggestions, is intended for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making health-related decisions.
  • You agree to use the Application only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms and Conditions.
  • You agree not to post, upload, or share any content through the Application that is unlawful, harmful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • The Service Provider reserves the right to remove any content and suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms and Conditions.

Connectivity and Liability

Some functions of the Application require an active internet connection. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or if you have exhausted your data allowance.

If you are using the Application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's agreement terms still apply. You may incur charges from your mobile provider for data usage, including roaming data charges if you use the Application outside of your home territory without disabling data roaming. By using the Application, you accept responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the bill payer for the device, the Service Provider assumes that you have obtained permission from the bill payer.

The Service Provider accepts no liability for any loss, direct or indirect, that you experience as a result of relying on the content or functionality of the Application.

Updates and Termination

The Service Provider may update the Application from time to time. Requirements for the operating system may change, and you will need to download updates to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be compatible with the operating system version installed on your device. You agree to accept updates to the Application when offered.

The Service Provider may cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without prior notice. Upon termination: (a) the rights and licenses granted to you in these terms will end; (b) you must cease using the Application and, if necessary, delete it from your device.

Changes to These Terms and Conditions

The Service Provider may periodically update their Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
